Good afternoon and welcome to JustAnswer!!

My name is ***** ***** I have worked for a Chrysler-Dodge-Jeep dealership for 19 years and I will do my best to help.

Have you connected a scantool to see what codes are setting? If yes can you post the codes here so I can get a idea on what's going on? If your going to fix this yourself we will need to do some fuel tests and the first one will be a fuel delivery test. I will need for you to disconnect the line to the CP3 pump and bump the starter and tell me if your getting 500ml in 10 sec. If yes then using a scantool what is the rail psi when starting? A Cummins needs 5,000 rail psi to start.. If low then you will need to start blocking off injectors until the rail psi rises and then replace the bad injector..

Let me know,

The battery's will overcharge if you have bad connections.. I would start by disconnecting and cleaning all 4 terminals and then see if it's still overcharging.. Also I would load test each battery and if one if bad replace both is pairs...
