2009 grand garavan 4.0 stalls out intermitant once a week or three times in a couple hours. starts right back up
JA: Is the check engine light on? Does the car stall at idle or when driving?
Customer: had a tune up done $395 didn't help. no check engine light, no stall when idleiing
JA: What is the model of your '09 Dodge?
Customer: Grand caravan 4.0 v-6
JA: Are you fixing your Grand Caravan yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: been to the dodge dealer three times. a week so far this times. does not throw codes and has not been able to duplicate problem
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: 20-30 miles and hour rush hour traffic it stalls hard to get to the curb without an accident. wife says it stalls out more in wet weather. slippery ***** *****ght up on dash when it quites

This condition is usually caused by one of three things.

Low transmission fluid (preventing the torque converter from disengaging)

Faulty TCC solenoid (not releasing)

EGR valves sticking open (causing the engine to stall out at times intermittently)
