Hi will you like to continue sorry for the delay.
Customer: replied 4 months ago.
I paid $30 to get some help so I would like to continue
Expert:  Ricardo Hohl replied 4 months ago.
Okey there are only two possibilities that can cause the problem you are having and that is low fuel pressure from the pump or a clogged catalytic converter. Have you done a fuel pressure test yet?
Customer: replied 4 months ago.
No it just happened so I haven't had a chance to do anything. What's involved in doing a pressure test? What about the fuel filter? Could that be a possibility as well?
Expert:  Ricardo Hohl replied 4 months ago.
the fuel filter can be clogged if you have not replace that then do that first see if it helps if it doesn't then you will need to check fuel pressure this is done with a fuel pressure gage connected to the fuel rail pressure should read over 50 psi
Expert:  Ricardo Hohl replied 4 months ago.
If pressure is good then that leaves the catalytic converter clogged
Customer: replied 4 months ago.
Ok if that is the case could I just take the catalytic converter off?
Expert:  Ricardo Hohl replied 4 months ago.
you can but you will need one to pass your emissions inspection
Customer: replied 4 months ago.
Ok so your confident it should one of those two things? Can't be the O2 sensor or something like that?
Expert:  Ricardo Hohl replied 4 months ago.
An of sensor will not do that you have total
Lost of power an 02 may just give you a hesitation on acceleration but not lost of power it will also leave a code on the computer
