I have a Dodge Caliber 2011 Express.. Over the last week or so I am getting a persistent P304 which indicates a cylinder misfire . I have replaced the coil the spark plug and even replaced the fuel injector on that cylinder. I notice this time when it began that the AC was affected so it was speeding up and slowing down as the "misfire" was happening. On other occasions The display is affected and dims and returns to normal very quickly when this happens so it almost looks like its not getting a signal to function consistently and it may be an electrical problem.. I also got a P2311 once so I wonder if its the PCM.

Hi, I'm Ron and I will be helping you today.
Stand by for a moment while I prepare your answer.

Check compression in that cylinder and also check to see that the injector is getting pulsing power with a noid light.

If you are satisfied with my answer, I would greatly appreciate a 5
star rating now and I will still assist you after you have rated me
too if another question pops up. I don’t get credit for helping you
until you rate me.
Thanks again, Ron

Did you have any more questions for me?

Thanks again, Ron

It still can be a PCM, so i won't rule that out just yet due to the coil circuit.

I am going to do your tests, but I am expecting a PCM, that way it won't come as an "expensive" shock when it happens you have a good day.

Yep, that's true. You have a good day too.

Thanks again, Ron
