I looked at the diagram, and i don't see a black wire on the enclosed diagram. Also, there are solid colors coming from the actuator, which is connected to the truck wiring. There's a connector that's missing, so I don't know which wires to connect to each other. Dealer doesn't offer this connector (female and male), so I'm going to solder these wires together, temporarily.
Expert:  Ron replied 8 months ago.

What part of the system is this, where is this connector located?

Expert:  Ron replied 8 months ago.

From your picture and the wire colors this looks like the shift motor connection and that is shown in the diagram in the right lower corner. Is that not it?

Expert:  Ron replied 8 months ago.

Take look at the connector view in this link, this should be what you need.

Any chance you might have a diagram of the female plug end (transfer case motor)?
Expert:  Ron replied 8 months ago.

Unfortunately Dodge dose not offer that as it come with the motor and the connector is indexed so it only goes on one way. Looking at the diagram it looks like the wires match on both sides of the connector.
