Trailer tail and running lights inop. Checked for voltage on

Customer Question

Trailer tail and running lights inop. Checked for voltage on the truck side of my trailer connector and no voltage. Fuse not blown. Truck tail lights work fine.
JA: Have you checked the bulbs? Have you checked the connection?
Customer: Read the initial NO VOLTAGE COMING FROM TRUCK
JA: What is the model/year of your Dodge?
Customer: 201r ram 1500 slt
JA: What year is your Ram 1500?
Customer: Sorry. Annoyed. Tore my trailer wiring apart because I couldn't imagine my 2 yo truck was going to have electrical problems
JA: Are you fixing your Ram 1500 yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Well, I pulled the connector off the inside of the trailer tow connector and did a visual. Wires look fine. Checked the fuse... fuse is good. Tried to find a schematic and failed miserable ly.
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: No, I think that about sums it up so far
