98 dodge Dakota 3.9 has no power to silonoid wire at starter when you turn the key to start
JA: Is the car in "Park" or "Neutral?" Do you know if your car has a "wheel lock" feature?
Customer: yes I moved the gear sift my grandson said the speedometer quit and the abs lite came on when he was driving home and when he shut it off it will not engage the starter
JA: Are you fixing your Dakota yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: yes I just check the power to the starter
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?

I would start by checking the inputs to the starter relay (powers and grounds). The starter relay is located under the hood in the power distribution center.

Oh, and one more thing.. Check the battery and connections as well.
