It sounds like your engine computer has probably failed. Only other thing that would cause the no communication problem is a wiring issue which I have not seen any common wiring problems on this vehicle. I'll open question back up to see if someone else has some advice besides bring it to dealer because that would be where we are heading. Someone will reply automatically if they can help. Thanks.

Customer: replied 11 months ago.
The vehicle functions properly, how is the computer bad? This is no help at all
Expert:  Dan replied 11 months ago.

New expert here, sounds like a CAN wire problem between the DLC and the PCM. I can send you a wiring diagram if you would like.

Customer: replied 11 months ago.
Just tell me where to look and i will look, i already paid 28 bucks with NOTHING to show for it.

You need a multi meter to check voltage at the Data link connector. do you have a meter?

Expert:  Dan replied 11 months ago.

Double check fuse 33 in the TIPM under hood fuse box.

Customer: replied 11 months ago.
Which pins? Ok checking now
Expert:  Dan replied 11 months ago.

Check pins 14 and pin 6 on the DLC.

Customer: replied 11 months ago.
Fuse 33 good, checking pins
Expert:  Dan replied 11 months ago.

ok

Customer: replied 11 months ago.
Used pin 16 as ground. 11.54v
Customer: replied 11 months ago.
Maybe i checked it wrong? I think i checked it right... still not scanning
Customer: replied 11 months ago.
Ive tried 3 different scanners and checked the pins to make sure theyre straight
Expert:  Dan replied 11 months ago.

Used chassis body for ground with the meter. Recheck pins 14 and 6 using chassis ground. Pin 16 should have 12 volts to chassis ground.
