Hello and welcome to JustAnswer!

If the problem happens with the ignition switch unplugged then you either have a wiring or module issue or possibly a failed aftermarket remote start module.

Do you know that the truck has an aftermarket remote start, or did you buy it used leaving the possibility that there is one present that you're not aware of?

It does have a remote start module. I believe the remote start module says dodge on it. How should I check if that is my issue?

Try unplugging the module and see if that changes anything.
