Welcome to JustAnswer!!! My name is***** will be helping you with your question today...
Good afternoon and welcome to JustAnswer!!My name is ***** ***** I have worked for a Chrysler-Dodge-Jeep dealership for 19 years and I will do my best to help.
The code you have is P229F-AFTERTREATMENT NOx SENSOR CIRCUIT PERFORMANCE - BANK 1 SENSOR 2. It could be a bad NOx sensor but in order to properly diagnose it you will need a scantool, or you could just take a chance and replace the NOx sensor and see if it fixes it.. I can give you the diagnostics if you want to try and follow them to see what the problem is..
The sensor in question is located Downstream NOx sensor located in the outlet side of the SCR Catalyst. I would purchase it from your local Dodge dealership..
