Customer Question

I have 97 Dodge RV Club House RAM 3500. Completely dead( no crank, no lights, ) when attempting to start.
JA: Just to clarify, what are the exact lights you're talking about?
Customer: No dash, head lights etc. Nothing.
JA: What year is your Ram?
Customer: 97
JA: Are you fixing your Ram yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: I re-seeted the fuses. Attempted to jump, but nothing happens. This seem to gradually happen, as I was having the same issue, but getting it start, then eventually it failed to start.
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: Just that this was happening before, but got it to start after a few attempts. Now...nothing. Thanks for your replys. :)

Welcome, I'm Chris (aka Moose) I prefer to work when others don't, I am here around lunch and after dinner till after midnight.

  • Sorry no one has helped yet.
  • This is not an answer to your question, just an inquiry if your still needing/wanting help. Because I believe I can help.
  • Lets start at the battery. Do the posts and the cables show 12.6 volts including when using the engine as a ground?
