I purchase a 1987 Dodge Ram 50. Decided to change the fuel

Customer Question

I purchase a 1987 Dodge Ram 50. Decided to change the fuel filter and found another filter on top of the gas tank. After researching it I found it to be what they call a 2 way vapor valve. I can't find any replacement part. Is it necessary to replace or is there anything comparable.

There is no need to change the vapor valve, its has nothing to do with the fuel filtering system and is an emission part. The only filter you need to change for the fuel system is the fuel filter.
