Okay, if the alternator and regulator are good, then they are NOT getting power. There isn't anything else it can be, this is a very simple circuit.

i am not engine savi. where would I look before alternator. wires, fuses or is there a device that might detect where the issue is?
Expert:  rpmdiag replied 11 months ago.

Just check the connections at the alternator and voltage regulator for power and good grounds. The connections or wiring has to be what's wrong. Use your test light or DVOM.
