Hello and welcome to JustAnswer!

There are many things that could cause the problem you're describing. It sounds as if the powertrain control module is going down. If the PCM isn't awake at the time of the no start then it won't communicate with a scan tool, along with not being able to control any engine functions.

If the PCM won't communicate at the time of the no start condition then the first thing that needs to be done is test it's power and ground feeds. If they're present then the PCM can be condemned.

If a power or ground is missing then that circuit will need to be investigated further. You could have a wiring issue or internal failure in the TIPM causing a loss of power or ground.
