Small leak from bottom left corner of radiator. Stops when

Customer Question

Small leak from bottom left corner of radiator. Stops when engine cools. Need to make a trip out of town tomorrow for my son's soccer tournament, and I don't know if I need to cancel the tournament or just keep placing radiator fluid in until I can get to the Dodge Dealer on Monday?
JA: How old are the hoses? And just to clarify, can you actually see the leak?
Customer: I can see the leak; it is coming from the metal right at the corner of the bottom right of the radiator.
JA: What is the model/year of your Dodge?
Customer: 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 V8 5.7L Hemi
JA: Are you hoping to fix this yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: I don't know how to fix it. Was going to take it in to the dealer Monday; but again, I am questioning whether or not I need to cancel the soccer tournament?
JA: Anything else you think the mechanic should know?
Customer: I'm not knowledgeable enough to ask any further questions...sorry:(

Hello, it sounds like it's leaking where the plastic tank meets the core. This type of leak can worsen quickly. If the game is more than 15 or 20 miles away I would not recommend chancing it.
