Hi there.

Any chance of getting more specific information such as code numbers and symptoms? Also, is this a 2 or a 4WD vehicle?

P0700 is an informational code stored in the PCM to alert you there is another code stored in the Transmission Control Module (TCM) that the scan tool or code reader you're using is incapable of accessing. It basically means you need to plug in a capable scan tool that can communicate with the TCM to find out what that other code is. Other wise you run the risk of replacing parts unnecessarily and still not fixing the problem.

was wondering if it could be the transmission control module
ok I will try that and get back too you later

Most likely it's a mechanical, not an electronic issue. That's why it's so important to use the right diagnostic tools.
