Hello and welcome to just answer. Are you saying that it will not physically move to the auto stick position?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I recently had the solenoid replaced and the stick is tending to slip out of drive into neutral and won't pull back into auto stick mode either

Gotcha. Ok, then the shifter cable is way out of adjustment, or the shifter assembly has failed internally and will need to be replaced. if the mechanic cannot fix this by adjusting the cable and/or bracket, then you will need to replace the shifter assembly.
