My car just started driving poorly after a red warning light

Customer Question

My car just started driving poorly after a red warning light flashed on. The light is a steady red lightning bolt surrounded by two inverse parenthesis marks. It is on the upper right of all the warning lights next to the brake warning light. Also, on the bottom of the screen the wheel with the fishtail brake failure orange light went on at the same time. Of course this happened to day... we just paid the car off and received the title on Monday! Argh! I get a day off out of it anyway.

Hi, welcome to Just Answer. I’m Ron and I’ll be helping you
Before we get started though, Please understand that I don't know
your skill level or tools you have to assist us. Also understand that
I can't see, smell, hear, or touch the vehicle either, so patience is
appreciated. JA is a great Q/A site, but it does NOT replace a
repair shop.
My goal is to make you happy and get a great rating in return for
my time. Sometimes I have to give you bad news that I know you
didn’t want to hear, so please don’t shoot the messenger.

Most likely this can all be related to one thing like a service interval by your description. The shop will attach a scan tool to see if there are any code in any of the nodes and go from there. Doesn't sound serious to me.

Thanks, Ron

I just got it scheduled with my mechanic at the garage I use. Thank you.
