JA: Have you checked to make sure the thermostat is working? What about the coolant level?
Customer: Thermostat new. Full of new antifreeze
JA: What is the model/year of your Dodge?
Customer: 2003 Dodge Laramie 1500 Quadcab
JA: Are you hoping to fix this yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: I have flushed the cooling system, installed a new thermostat
JA: Anything else you think the mechanic should know?
Customer: It will put out a little heat with low fan speed

How many miles on the vehicle?

When you flushed the cooling system, was it dirty?

Have you had the heater core checked for partial plugging?

150000 miles. Cooling system clean. Heater core unchecked for partial plugging.

The 03 trucks are known for breaking the blend door or the blend door actuator or both. There should be an actuator that is on the lower area of the hvac unit passenger side near the transmission tunnel. Check this actuator and post back results..
