2005 dodge 1500 ticking
So i got a 2005 dodge ram 1500 with 121kmiles with ticking that never goes away. Only time it goes away is if you tap the gas real quick itll go away for 1 second maybe its a quick tick that its heard louder if your under the truck. And is faster with higher rpms. I wish their was a way to upoad the sound but it wont let me

Could be an exhaust leak, lifter, timing chain tensioner, rod bearing, piston slap.

Hard to diagnose without being able to hear it.

You can remove the drive belt and start it to eliminate the serp belt tensioner.
