My 1999 Dodge ram 1500 won't start. I changed the starter it

Customer Question

My 1999 Dodge ram 1500 won't start. I changed the starter it was fine for a week or two. I changed the bartery and again it was fine for a few days, then it wouldn't start again. I then changed the starter relay and again it was fine for a few days. Now it's not starting again. What could it be?
JA: Does the engine turn over? How old is the battery?
Customer: No not at all
JA: Are you hoping to fix this yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: I just don't know right now really
JA: Anything else you think the mechanic should know?
Customer: If I let the truck cool down and jump it that seems to work
JA: OK. Got it. I'm sending you to a secure page on JustAnswer so you can place the $5 fully-refundable deposit now. While you're filling out that form, I'll tell the Dodge Mechanic about your situation and then connect you two.

Hi there.

So, what happens when you turn the key to START? Are there any warning lights on the dash? Any noises?
