I have a 2014 Ram Laramie Limited with a Hemi 5.7 L. It now

Customer Question

I have a 2014 Ram Laramie Limited with a Hemi 5.7 L. It now has 64,000 miles and the water pump was replaced two weeks ago. Its now running an average of 210 degrees, but fluctuates from 195 to 218. This occurs when pulling a trailer or under normal driving conditions. I was stopped, idling for about five minutes yesterday and the coolant temp went to 226 degrees. Also, the oil temperature ranges from 210 to 230. The transmission oil is primarily in the 180s but has increased to 193 when pulling a trailer. I understand that hemi's run a little hotter, but this seems really high. Please advise

Did they also replace the thermostat when they replaced the water pump as well?
