I have a 1097 ram with a 318 and the oil light comes on and

I have a 1097 ram with a 318 and the oil light comes on and oil psi drops, can this be the oil cooler radiator? It was vary plugged up before I blow it out with air, plugged with a ioly like stuff.

Hi Welcome to Just Answer! No the oil cooler in the radiator is for the transmission fluid not the engine oil.

OK it ideals vary low when it is worm. that may be the resin the oil psi drops and oil light comes on? it stalls when I come to a stop as well.

the RPM is like 300 -400 under 1000

ok idle rpms should be around 600-700 so you are ok there it sounds like you may have an issue with the oil pump. How many miles are on your truck?
