2002 dodge neon started to somehow leak antifreeze, now

Customer Question

2002 dodge neon started to somehow leak antifreeze, now along with that still not repaired automatic transmission slipping out of gear back into neutral. I haven't driven it since this happened 2 weeks ago. Don't know how serious n since the car is old is it worth fixing ??

Hello and welcome. My name is ***** ***** you for visiting the site.

Has it been over heated?

Is the trans fluid full? (and clean)

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I don't let it overheat n I don't know the level on the transmission fluid. My son said that u don't hafta add trans fluid if it's an automatic but then after I thought about that it didn't make sense. I mean if it has a transmission which obviously any car does, how is it that u wouldn't have to check n maybe add fluid like any car? Anyway I didn't drive at all the second it started to slip.

I see, thanks.

Do you know if it slips in all forward gears or only first?

Does reverse seem to slip?

Is the check engine light on?
