2006 sprinter. How do I check transmission fluid level
JA: When was the last time your transmission fluid was checked? Changed?
Customer: Recent purchase so I don't know
JA: Tell me a bit more about what's going on so he can help you best.
Customer: Slipping in
JA: Are you hoping to fix this yourself?
Customer: Slipping high revs to get going. Did not want to shift into reverse but finally did
JA: Is there anything else the Dodge Mechanic should be aware of about your Dodge?
Customer: No
JA: OK. Got it. I'm sending you to a secure page on JustAnswer so you can place the $5 fully-refundable deposit now. While you're filling out that form, I'll tell the Dodge Mechanic about your situation and then connect you two.

Hello, Eddie here and I will do my best to help. There is not a factory dipstick for the transmission fluid level check on your sprinter. Unfortunately this requires a special tool, The special tool number is ***** and is manufactured by Miller tool company. Did the transmission slip or "chatter" in reverse when you attempted to move in reverse? or was there just a long delayed engagement?

Or is the check engine light on now or any other warning indicators by chance?
