Dodge Ram 1500: I have a 99 ram 1500 and my battery gage keeps

I have a 99 ram 1500 and my battery gage keeps steady normally around 14 but recently it has been dropping low enough that my check Gage's light comes on and it's brand new battery I bought it beginning of April i leave no lights or anything on

Hello, have you checked the altenator output at idle when this issue occurs? How low does the voltage actually go? Original altenator?

Like Gene said did you take a voltage reading with the car running chances are your alternator is no good.
