Customer Question

I was driving when the radio totally quit.I did hear a pop from the radio The odometer and the other lights flickered. The dials on the speedometer and rpm would pulsate. So would the gas gauge and Temp gauge. I looked for fuses but couldn't any bad ones. I checked wires under hood but didn't see any thing.

Hello and welcome to JustAnswer!

You may have quite a few things going on. It could be a wiring issue or internal failure in the integrated power module, but the problem may also be charging related. Symptoms such as these are often caused by under or overcharging, which could be an alternator, cable/connection, or battery issue.

Are any of the problems still present now?
