have a dodge journey, 2010, sxt and the heater on the front passenger side has stopped working. also the driver side heater does not heat as it did before. is this a problem addressed before ?

Your heater core is clogged- either with particulate material, or the coolant has started to gel up. It's common for the passenger side to lose heat before the driver side due to the arrangement of the ducting, even though there is only one heater core.
