Customer Question

I have a 2004 dodge ram 1500, with a 5.7 hemi, I just had to put another engine in it. Everything works fine and it runs good except the alternator gauge not working and when you unhook battery cable when running it goes dead

good morning my name is ***** ***** I will assist

do not ever, ever do that with the battery cable. that tests for nothing and can damage modules in the truck. use a voltmeter at the battery and test the voltage with it running.

the gauge, do you mean there is no reading or it is not showing charging???
