Customer Question

In my 2006 ram 1500 the brake lights stopped working. The third light on the cab does come on when brake pedal is pushed. Do I need to replace the multifunction switch or the brake light switch?

Hello. My name is ***** ***** I will be helping you today.

It wouldnt be the brake switch or multifunction switch. Its most likely a bad front control module.

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
If that is it, wouldn't other things not work also?
Expert:  Wayne Crawford replied 1 year ago.

Not unless the whole thing was bad. If just the drivers for those lights are bad within the module then just those lights wont work.
