my 2002 dodge dakota won't shift until you reach around 3,000 rpm

Customer: when you start off it will not shift until you reach approx. 3,000 and will not shift again untill same rpm. on the older cars 50,60, 7 70 we found the modulator was the problem but the later models have too m,any sensors

Usually this is caused from the Throttle Valve cable on the transmission being out of adjustment. It will cost about 1 hour labor for a shop to do it for you. If you are going to try it yourself just let me know and i can give you the instructions.
