1999 dodge 2500 diesel misfiring or stumbling at gh speed

1999 dodge 2500 diesel misfiring or stumbling at high speed (72+ mph)

Hi there. Welcome to our site!

Misfiring and stumbling at high speeds can be caused by a faulty lift pump not getting enough fuel to the injection pump. Have your tech check it; normal fuel pressure should remain at 14-15 psi and don't drop more than 2-3 psi with the engine underload.

Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Best Regards.
