2004 stratus 2.7. Purge control solenoid test bad and was replaced. Car would not start. Removed hose from purge solenoid to intake and car starts. Can hear suction nouse coming from removed line

Good evening..

I'm not sure what kind of issues or codes you have or had but the purge solenoid will not cause the engine not to start. The line "In" goes to the intake so if you feel a vacuum when the engine is running then that is normal..
