Customer Question

I recently purchased a 2006 Dodge Dakota 4X4 with 146000 km.
I have a problem with the radio - on starting the truck, sometimes the radio comes on and other times it does not. These is no static or partial radio, it is totally black.
On occasion it does work on starting; we go into a store for 20 minutes, and come back out and the radio does not work.
It seems to be worse now that the weather is cold and wet.

Good afternoon.

When it doesn't work you will need to check for 12v and ground and if good then I would replace the radio.. If your missing 12v or ground then you will need to trace the wiring to find the issue..

I hope this helps,
