Customer Question

I have a 1996 dodge 2500 4x4 v10 truck normally runs at normal temp on dash guage. About a month ago my dash heater ac control only worked on defrost. I changed the control panel 2 days ago everything worked good all vents ect still running cool.last night I changed the thermostat and bought a new aluminum housing bc I had same problem last year when I cracked the plastic housing. I apoxyed the old one last year but was in a jam and put it back on. About 3 weeks ago guage stopped reading 180 to about 160 blowing Luke warm air this is why I went ahead and changed everything last night. Know the truck has been replaced with 190 temp thermostat and running cooler than ever also my truck started losing voltage. Replaced battery and alternator about 3 months ago didn't have any problem until I changed the thermostat and housing last night could it be the sensor on top of my housing I dunno what else to do
