i have a 1998 dodge stratus 2.4L the other day i was driving it to work i was climbing a hill so i stepped on the gas a little more to keep up speed when i did it started to chug a bit then the check engine light came on and started blinking on and off
real fast the guy behind me said my lights went dim and came back on i took to auto zone they said #4 cylinder was misfiring should change plugs and wires did that and it is still doing the same thing running rough

Whats the compression of #4 cylinder? Does it have spark and fuel?

i dont know what the compression of #4 cylinder is not a mechanic i can drive it just chugs

If it's still misfiring on #4 you will need to make sure the base engine is ok by checking the compression. Was the plug wet?

A wet plug means it either is low on compression or no spark...
