Good afternoon and welcome to JustAnswer!!!

Is the check engine light on and if so what codes are in the ECM? Also have you had the 65k emission cleaning performed? If you run your finger in the tailpipe is it clean or black? And how does it run?

Talk soon,

Check engine light is on , don't know about service just bought truck. Has 190,00 miles on it.

Can't read the codes, don't have a code reader. Catalyst full message is on we have to go on and lost power.
Expert:  -Brad- replied 1 year ago.

Ok with the light being on can you drive it to your nearest Advanced Auto parts or similar parts store and see if they will read the codes for you? They will usually do this free of charge hoping you will purchase the parts from them to repair it..

So your aren't able to drive it? Is the tailpipe black or clean?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I can drive it. Tailpipe is black.
Expert:  -Brad- replied 1 year ago.

Ok if the tailpipe is black then the DPF is busted.. Now has anyone removed all the emission components or are they all still intact? Has a programmer been added? If you can drive it then it would help me greatly in determining what is going on if I knew the codes..

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I can get to a parts store and get the codes.
Expert:  -Brad- replied 1 year ago.

Ok great.. Once you do just post the codes here so I can see whats going on and the steps that are going to be needed to repair it..
