Customer Question

i have a 2006 dodge magnum rt and not to long ago replaced the rack and pinion, upper ball joints, lower ball joints, control arm, shocks, tie rods and brake discs. now the front end rides about 2.5 inches higher. too high to align. what did i do wrong? i tried to leave the suspension bolts loose and let it settle. the shocks are bilstein and have a little more pressure than the old ones but not enough to push it up that high ???

You say you replaced the shocks. Is that the rear shocks? Aren't the front struts? Were the struts replaced or taken apart?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
i replaced the front struts but used the original springs and rear shocks with the original springs

Ok, the reason I asked is because you didn't mention that.

Now, who assembled and installed the struts?
