Hello and welcome! Here is a picture of the timing marks.
Ok let me do some digging
Its a small picture but this should be it
Is that it?
Will these pictures work for you or would you like me to keep looking for more?
This is for a 2009 4.7
Ok, those are all of the pictures I have. I will leave this open for other experts.
I'm a dealership technician and I will need the last 8 of your VIN to verify this is the correct timing marks..
I have uploaded the timing verification procedure...
Let me know if this helps and what issues you are encountering..
Are you trying to verify it with the timing cover installed? If so and you have the P0016 code then your timing is off and you will need to remove the timing cover to set it correctly...
WHat are you referring to when you say "align the marks with one link mark"?
The chain from the crankshaft to the idler is the primary chain, the chain to the camshafts is the secondary chain.. Which one are you having issues with?
Ok on the secondary chain it only lines up with the camshaft and no other marks, you don't time the chain to the idler...
Read over the timing procedure I attached..
On primary chain the 2 marks on the chain go to the idler, and the 1 mark goes to the crankshaft...
Hello! I thought this might help..
That looks good, now is the crankshaft lined up at the bottom? How do the camshafts look?
The customer did not post that link.
Do you still need assistance with this?
