I have a '04 ram 3500 with the 5.9 My brake lights are not

Customer Question

Hello, I have a '04 ram 3500 with the 5.9
My brake lights are not functioning. Running lamps, turn signals and reverse work.
I have checked the fuses and they appear fine. I have replaced the brake stoplight signal.
I trailer brake controller is showing the braking, but my lights still fail to illuminate.
Where else should i troubleshoot?

Hello. My name is ***** ***** I will be helping you today.

Is the center high mount light working or that one doesnt work as well?

Have you checked for power at one of the bulb sockets to see if you just have two bad bulbs? (this is more common than you think}

Let me know and we can move on.

I feel like a moron, because, surprise surprise, both bulbs had gone bad at the same time. I'll be replacing the elevated assembly later on.
But for now. I'm driving.
