Hello and welcome to Justanswer!

You most likely just need to have the idle adjusted. There is a lock nut and idle adjustment screw on the back of the injector pump that is used to adjust idle speed. Using scan tool for accuracy, idle is adjusted to 750 RPM with the a/c on and trans in drive if it's an automatic. If the engine runs otherwise ok and it doesn't feel as if the engine is being drug down at idle by a locked up torque converter clutch then a simple idle speed adjustment should be all that's necessary.
