my 2000 dodge caravan stalled when i drove thru one and a half foot of water,i waited till after it was towed out to try and start it but it just makes a clicking noise.also when i looked under hood the fuse panels lid was off the fuse box,could it have been blown off?how do i get it running again?

hi, the first thing to do ,pull out the spark plugs (the cylinders may have filled with water or at least a couple of cylinders .

water can't be compressed and this causes a lock out .

the pistons won't move because of the water .

so, pull out the plugs and turn the motor over by hand .it would be good to check the oil level just in case water got also, into the oil .

but pull the spark plugs ,dont take a chance of ruining the motor ..jazzmaster ..
