have 2003 stratus was feeling around to get comp...on there are three wires at condensor valve made a a hot wire contact that shorted out and motor shut off and will not restart

Hello and welcome to just answer. You may have just "fried" the PCM (engine computer). That condenser AC pressure sensor is not a simple on/off switch. It is a 5 volt sensor and is wired directly to the PCM. Try disconnecting the battery negative cable for 2 minutes and reconnect it. Then disconnect that sensor at the condenser and see if it will start. If it still will not, then you will probably have to replace the PCM.
