Customer Question

I have a 2006 dodge 2500, I pulled a truck out of bog in reverse. Not really much to it,the next day my truck started having a delay going into reverse. Everything else is fine. It seems to go into reverse faster when hot. I have adjusted the rear ban and serviced the transmission and still no change?

Hello and welcome to JustAnswer!
If the band is properly adjusted and it doesn't slip in any forward gears then I would first suspect a cracked servo. If the low/reverse servo is leaking then the band will apply slowly and it can allow slip under load.
Can you describe how the band was adjusted?
