I am having trouble with a 2007 Grand Caravan passenger

Customer Question

I am having trouble with a 2007 Grand Caravan passenger airbag sensor / light. The dealer says they cannot recalibrate the bladder sensor and the light is always on.

I am sorry for the delay in getting a response to you. Sometimes we get alot of customers and just can not keep up. Sometimes you just have to wait for the correct tech to login.

Do you even still need help. Sometimes customers seek help elsewhere or figure it out on their own before we get to each and everyone.

I am sure I can help a lot or a little at least something if you give me a chance and work with me. I am going to get an answer to you regardless if you reply or not sooner or later.

If your concern is urgent reply and let me know and if you have anything more you think will help me, to help you, let me know. I work on here normally 3pm-3am central.

Thanks Chris

Chris,I still need an answer. I need to know what the part(s) is/are to order to replace the sensor (mat?) in the passenger seat. Thanks.

Sorry but I do not have access to the part numbers with my tech login. I can just help diagnose and repair, not help order parts. The bladder kit is only available from Dodge so it has to come from a dealer where as they will not need the part number being they will look it up themselves. Would you like to getting back on the waiting list and try another person here to see if there is a parts tech that works here.

Is it possible that the whole bladder does not need to be replaced? Could it just be a sensor?

Yes that is possible I would need to know some information from diagnostics though to confirm.
