Customer Question

I have a 2007 dodge 1500..I'm trying to put a trailer brake control on it..It's a reese pilot controller..I can't get the controller to detect the camper..We have tried everything.. When I touch the brakes in the truck it locks them up on the camper...I get no lights at all on the controller just the little red dot to show power

Was your truck wired from factory for trailer brakes? The pigtail you got, was it a 4 wire blue connector that connected to the truck near the bulkhead above the parking brake? Also is the camper electric over hydraulic?
