rear sliding door will not open or unlock. 2001 caravan.
We have removed the door panel, but cannot remove the rear motor without opening the door. Suggestions?

If the sliding door will not open then you will have to break the latch to open it then replace the latch..

Would we do that from the inside of the vehicle? Which internal motors would need to be replaced so that the door would open?

Well since you have the door panel off you can get to the latch to release it. There is no easy way but if you get a hammer and chisel, pick, screwdriver you should be able to bust it so it releases. The latch will need to be replaced regardless.

is it possible to remove the bottom roller assembly to get the door to open?

If you remove the bottom or top slides the latch will still need to be released before the door will open..
