Dodge Durango 5.7: Brad, I have a 2004 Dodge Durango 5.7LtIt

Customer Question

Hi Brad, I have a 2004 Dodge Durango 5.7Lt
It was shifting back and fourth from all wheel to 4x4 on its own. We had the shifting motor replaced and it continues to do it. I was told that we should look at changing the NGC module next

Tipm codes? Sorry your talking to the wife
Expert:  -Brad- replied 2 years ago.
Yes the TIPM is the fuse box under the hood. I will need to know what codes are in it to better help you repair it.

I'm not sure about "codes*" but I know we have replaced the transmission shifting motor and the NGC Module and it is still shifting when it's sitting still. the AWD 2x4 4x4 lights where flashing last week. I'm not sure what to try next.

The first step is going to be reading the codes in the TIPM to determine what's going on..
