Customer Question

ON my 04 dodge 4x4 I,am trying to remove left cv shaft, it comes off the inside pumpkin easily. I took the nut off the outside cv shaft and it will not come out of the hub. What can I do? I've been pounding on it and it won't come loose.

Hello, my name is***** you for allowing me to assist you! That should not be that hard to remove. It is obviously rusted to the splines in the hub. Soak it with a can of PB Blaster penetrating fluid. Let it sit overnight. Then rent a 2 puller from your auto parts store and use that to push the shaft out of the hub. Maybe use a torch to heat things up. Hopefully that will help.
