hi i'm bill
welcome to just answer
please remember I am NOT there in front of you! my answers are based on your information
a misfire code only means the computer picked up a certain cylinder or cylinders are misfiring, while worn out spark plugs CAN and often do cause misfire codes there are many other things that can cause misfire codes, including engine mechanical problems like a sticky valve which can be intermittent or something YOU cannot feel BUT the computer is sensitive enough to pick up, or coil packs not firing correctly under certain loads.
what are the exact codes you are getting?
have you erased them and have they returned?
what is your skill level, can you perform a compression or leak down test if needed, troubleshooting is the best way to determine the needed repairs ESPECIALLY with misfire codes

I disconnected the battery after I changed the oxygen sensors & the EGR valve but the engine light came on right away again
